The Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) -- The Division of Child Development and Early Education provides training, technical assistance, and consultation for staff who work with subsidized child care programs. The Division of Social Services (DSS) -- The Division of Social Services (DSS) provides training, technical assistance, and consultation to the local staff who work in programs for families and children including Child Welfare, Family Support, Work First, Child Support, and Food and Nutrition Services. Division of Health Service Regulation (DHSR) -- The Division of Health Service Regulation provides training, technical assistance, and consultation for staff who are involved in the supervision and monitoring of group care facilities. Field staff are available to local counties. Division of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) -- The Division of Aging and Adult Services provides training, technical assistance, and consultation to local staff who work in programs for adults including Adult Protective Services, Special Assistance, Adult Day Care and In Home services. Limited heating fuel assistance during winter. Does not assist with reconnection fees. Elderly, disabled clients preferred. Some of their services include a food closet, a building ministry for wheel chair ramps, roofing and repairs and a relief fund. Food Closet: The Solid Rock Food Closet is involved in several programs focused on nutrition and food distribution. "The Deer Hunters Program" provides deer meat during hunting season. Our "Special Needs Program" focuses on clients such as diabetics and babies. The "Backpack Program" and are programs for weekend snacks that coordinate with the local elementary schools. During the summer months, our "Summer Lunch Program" serves children in need during the month of July. Gleaning with the "Society of St Andrews" provides summer produce picked by our volunteers. Qualifications: We follow the Emergency Food Assistance Program Financial Guidelines, (TEFAP, a federal nutrition program) Relief Fund: Solid Rock Emergency Fund Ministry reaches out to those who have fallen upon heard times and have special financial needs.
