Our goal is to meet the individual needs of each child. Tools used for assessments are observations, Creative Curriculum assessment, and Early LAP (Learning assessment profile). Children with special needs or those who are showing delays are formally evaluated with parental consent by the public school system or the CDSA (Children's Developmental Services Agencies). Individual goals are created and teachers incorporate the goals in the daily routines including as needed: Physical Therapy, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Early Intervention, Speech Therapy, Resources for Families, and Homebound and Community Services. Early Intervention Services Phone: (828) 265-5391 Fax: (828) 265-5394 Address: 2359 HWY 105 Boone, NC 28607 Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Description of Services: Children’s Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) provides services for the development of infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. Services are for children birth up to 3 years old that have a developmental delay or established condition (a diagnosed physical or mental condition). The ITP provides a range of services to help families meet the developmental needs of their infant or toddler. Some of these include: evaluations, service coordination, physical, occupational and speech-language therapies, assistive technology, family support, and nutrition services. Ages Served: Birth to age 3 Fees/ Payment Type Accepted: No family is denied services because of inability to pay. Evaluation and service coordination are at no cost for the family.
