The purpose of the WIC program is to prevent and improve nutrition-related health problems in its target population. Applicants must also be seen by a health professional such as a physician, nurse, or nutritionist who must determine whether the individual is at nutrition risk. They serve individuals with developmental disabilities and/or traumatic brain injuries. Ages served: All ages Fees/ Payment Type Accepted: Services are free Eligibility: Services are referral based. Families must complete an application and have an annual income of less than $65,000 a year after taxes and they only offer assistance one time per year.
