The program gives participants the opportunity to interact, with peers in a productive manner, and with a positive adult role model. We use Arise Curriculum, Project Adventure workshops, experiential learning sites and parenting classes, in a comprehensive effort to deliver services.

A high energy challenge program meeting while school is out for the summer. It uses Project Adventure's Challenge curriculum as well as high and low ropes course initiatives, outdoor wilderness sites and team building and physical challenges. An evidence based cognitive behavioral program offered for court referred youth (ages 11-17). MRT groups reduce recidivism by 30%, 3 times the success rates of the most successful alternatives. Participants peel away at the belief system they have built by living life, to reveal an inner self. They then consciously rebuild their belief system in accordance with accepted social norms and positive values. Parenting may be offered in conjunction with this program component.

GRANDFATHER HOME FOR CHILDREN - LEVEL II GROUP

Residential treatment program for youth ages 12-18 who have experienced trauma who also have behavioral issues that may include sexual harm. Services are provided in two cottages on a campus setting with education provided by on campus charter school. Mediation and Restorative Justice Center offers mediation services for school-aged youth and their parents. Mediation is a process of resolving conflict with the help of a neutral third party who guides the communication process and encourages participants to focus on problem issues in a positive manner. Mediations are completed in the school or community setting. Juvenile mediation is frequently used to resolve truancy, disruptive behaviors and conflict in the home.

RHA - INTENSIVE IN HOME

Description of Services: 
The goal of the Intensive In-Home service is to work with the child and the family in the community to reduce the child's symptoms in order to keep the child in their home environment. Children who qualify have been diagnosed with mental health and/or substance use issues, and are at risk of out-of-home placement due to their symptoms. Outpatient therapy has not been sufficient in reducing symptoms. There is a 24/7 crisis response included in the IIH service.
