Intermountain Children's Services Head Start id committed to improving the long-term academic outcomes of children that we are working with.  Families, Head Start Staff, and community partners must work together to provide age-appropriate environments and development experiences that promote growth and learning to ensure that all Head Start children enter Kindergarten eager and excited to learn.

Description of Services: The Blue Ridge Partnership
for Children, the local Smart Start agency, is a
comprehensive private – public initiative designed
to reach children during the critical years of   development with the intent that they arrive   at school healthy, motivated and ready to succeed.   BRPFC performs community assessments and   utilizes data from other organizations to identify   needs and develop programs that address the   needs of children birth to age five and their families.   Projects and programs generally utilize blended   funding; including, local individual donations,   grants and state allocations.
