Description of Services:
The Appalachian Therapeutic Riding Center (ATRC) was founded in 1986 and is located on 15 acres in the beautiful South Toe Valley. ATRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency and has 3 Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship Certified instructors. Additionally physical, occupational and speech therapists are often involved, either hands on or acting as consultants.  
Mission: 
The Appalachian Therapeutic Riding Center (ATRC) provides therapeutic horseback riding for persons with physical, cognitive, and/or emotional challenges in a safe, structured environment.

Description of Services: 
​Adaptive Baseball League for the Exceptional. ABLE Recreation serves children with special needs and their families by providing a variety of social and recreational activities.  The major activity is a late spring adaptive baseball program.

Description of Services:   
A sensory friendly showing will occur every Saturday at 2pm in IG Greer Auditorium. .  The Sensory Friendly showings are special screenings during the day where lighting is dimmed, the sound is lowered, and captions are played.  Movement and noise within the theater is acceptable as is bringing outside food and drinks to accommodate special diets.  The Films Council is committed to creating accessible movie-going environments for all of our patrons. *Movies and times are subject to change without prior notification.
