Description of Services: The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program creates and cultivates the development of exemplary community-based services, training programs, and research to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and for their families across the lifespan.

Fees/ Payment Type Accepted: Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, as well as all qualified insurance plans.  TEACCH will also accept cash, check, money orders, or credit/debit cares for any out-of-pocket expenses.

Description of Services: ​The mission of Swallowtail Summit Farms, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt nonprofit, is to serve individuals on the autism spectrum and to create a sustainable agricultural based community. This community will provide a safe and enriching environment where its residents can have a meaningful and purposeful life through work and community involvement.

A well-trained staff will assist the farm residents with all of their special needs. Area school children with autism will also be able to visit and participate in the farm experience through after-school and summer programs. The farm will also be open to the community-at-large for visits, volunteering, and activities that will educate them about autism awareness.
