Description of Services: This program makes care at home a real possibility for many people who face nursing placement. CAP/DA exists to supplement rather than replace the formal and informal services and support already available to an individual. A registered Occupational Therapist with a State certification as a driver instructor and specialist training in driver rehabilitation conducts a clinical evaluation at the client’s home to determine strengths and limitations. Training occurs on an individual basis, dealing with specific needs and covering every aspect of safe driving.
